Roundtable: Data Centre Exits and Cloud Migration (27 Oct)

At this roundtable, we examine hybrid and multi-cloud strategies and how best to migrate your existing enterprise applications, in a way that reduces business risk, avoids cost blow outs and bill shock and speeds up the planning cycle, resulting in faster migrations.

This roundtable will operate under the Chatham House Rule and will use a Q&A format. Good examples of the kind of questions, we might also expect to answer include:

  • When time is short, how we can we more easily move very large data loads between the data center, the edge and the cloud?
  • How can we accelerate migrations, without incuring significant data risk?
  • Does a multi-cloud strategy make financial sense when moving applications or should we accept potential vendor lock-in and focus our limited resources and skill sets on just one of the Hyperscalers?
  • How can we support traditional & modern apps simultaneously, to make the best use of Kubernetes across clouds with enterprise-grade security, reliability and resiliency?
