Online Roundtable: Early Detection, Fast Response. SIEM Simplified

Why attend?

The theme for this executive round table is Early Detection, Fast Response. SIEM Simplified. The key question to be discussed, is how to best deploy SIEM solutions to not only quickly detect malicious activity, but automatically take counter measures, whilst simultaneously gathering incident data, to prove regulatory compliance and reduce reputational damage.

Our special guest is Nigel Hedges, Head of Information Security, CPA Australia, who has a lot of recent experience with SIEM. The session will be facilitated by Neil Campbell of Rapid7.

Key topics to be covered at the lunch are likely to include:
>  How to improve visibility across your entire environment so you can detect attacks early and reliably determine the nature, magnitude and root cause of any security incident
>  How to respond more quickly and use automation to accelerate threat containment and isolate compromised assets with confidence
>  How SIEM tools can help you improve productivity and demonstrate hard evidence, that you have complied with all regulatory requirements and “best practice” security protocols

At this event, you will get the most value from the open discussion with your peers – other Cyber Security Professionals. For this reason, there will be no PowerPoints or formal presentations. To ensure a relaxed, useful and single conversation – where you learn from others, there are only 8 places available.

It’s all about the discussion

If you would like to join the discussion, then you can register now. Please note that if you do register, then your company name will be shared with other delegates and potential delegates. This is to help us create the most useful discussion possible.

Why join the CyberGroup?

At the end of many of our round-tables, someone will often say “This was really useful, how can we continue the conversation?”. The CyberGroup was created to answer this question and enable our delegates to not only continue the conversation online via our Slack channels, but also discuss other highly topical and emerging cyber issues with cyber security professionals from all across ANZ.

The event is finished.
