In Person Roundtable: Storage-As-A-Service (AEDT)
Join us for a physical, face-to-face roundtable to be held at Bopp & Tone Restaurant in central Sydney on Thursday 22 April to discuss the increasing shift from CAPEX storage to an OPEX, pay-as-you-go storage. IDC predicts that flexible models will grow by 13.7% in the next year, vs. under 1% for traditional capital expenditure, as companies seek solutions that better align cost with usage, are inherently more flexible and scalable, and help avoid overbuying and overprovisioning.
The roundtable will be facilitated by Matt Hurford, Field CTO for NetApp Asia Pacific.
During the roundtable, we will discuss how Storage-As-A-Service will help organisations:
1. Migrate workloads to and from the cloud, and within the cloud to drive a multi-cloud strategy and so avoid vendor lock-in
2. Save time spent on typical storage tasks, such as migrations, tech refreshes and hardware upgrades
3. Increase their tech flexibility as part of a wider corporate strategy to use agility as a competitive advantage
4. Reduce cost blow outs and better align expenditure with business outcomes
