Round-Table

Retail Cyber Security Round-Table Lunch: Protecting your data, payments and brand (London)

Why attend?

At this round-table lunch, we examine the cyber security issues that are most relevant to the retailers. The most fundamental question is: how do you protect your client’s personal information and your own brand, but do so with a budget that protects your margins?

There will be no PowerPoints or formal presentations at this event as you will get the most value from the opportunity to discuss common problems with other IT executives from the retail industry.

Our special guest at this round table is Eoin O’Connell, Head of IT at Smythson of Bond Street.

Our facilitator for this round-table is Stafford Hunt of JT Global Enterprise. Having worked with many resellers, Stafford has a lot of relevant experience. Stafford’s role as the facilitator will be to steer the conversation in whatever direction is of most interest to the group.

Example cyber security topics that are highly relevant to the retail industry include:

>  Threat monitoring and remediation (how to quickly detect the threat and then neutralise it)
>  The People Problem (how to protect often gullible users from sophisticated and sometimes socially engineered security threats)

To determine what is of most interest to the group, we have included a short questionnaire on our registration form. As you register, please indicate what is of most interest to you.

To ensure a robust, single conversation there are only 8 delegate places available.

It’s all about the discussion

If you would like to join the discussion, then you can register now. Please note that if you do register, then your name, title, company and photo as you have published on LinkedIn will be shared with other delegates and potential delegates. This is to help us create the most useful discussion possible.
