Round-Table: Cyber Security in the Education and Health Sectors (Canberra)
At this event, you will get the most value from the opportunity to discuss common problems with other IT and security executives from the Education and Health Sectors. For this reason, there will be no PowerPoints or formal presentations.
Our facilitators at this round table are Jennifer Sharman, Director of Knowledge Services, The Kings School (Sydney) and Graham Lowbridge from Accucom. Their role will be to steer the conversation in whatever direction is of most interest to the group. Three example topics that are highly relevant to cyber security in the education and healthcare sectors include:
> The People Problem (how to protect often gullible users from sophisticated and sometimes socially engineered security threats)
> Network Access Control (especially when you need to authenticate and manage increasing numbers of mobile devices across your networks)
> Automated tools to better manage and protect sensitive data without increasing the administrative burden
To determine what is of most interest to the group, we have included a short questionnaire on our registration form. As you register, please indicate what is of most interest to you.
To ensure an open, single conversation where you learn from the experience of others in a collaborative environment, there are only 10 places available.
It’s all about the discussion
